    IP35 Pro won't boot. F.5. POST code

I had a power outage for a few minutes yesterday while I was using my PC. Unfortunately I didn't have it on UPS. When the power came back, I couldn't boot my PC anymore.

It shows _2 as the first POST code and then stucks at F.5. and doesn't boot.

I looked in the manual, there is no code as F.5. Can anyone please let me know what might be wrong here? PSU? M/B? or something else.

I even cleared the CMOS 4-5 times and changed the PSU and still get the same error.

Can anyone please help me out here?

right, you have cleared CMOS several times which will have reset all your BIOS settings incl. the RAM voltage that will be needed to run your 4 DIMMs.
    Try using just 1 DIMM.

If your original PSU was the 500W Smart Power that came with the case they do have a bad reputation for failure.

Re: IP35 Pro won't boot. F.5. POST code

I actually changed the PSU to Corsair 520HX and it still gave the same problem. I replaced the RAM, Unplugged everything except CPU, RAM and GPU... yet I got the same error. I think the only option left for me right now is RMA...

I didn't really want to do RMA because I've heard horror stories of how bad Abit's RMA is. They usually send you back a bad piece with different problems.

Question Re: IP35 Pro won't boot. F.5. POST code

Hello Flare, did you get a resolution to this? The energy concious love of my life powered my system down at the wall and now... F.5. and no action when I hit the systems power button (And yes, the wall socket is now back on! )

I've been through the cycle of clearing the CMOS, testing the PSU and re-seating components before I started trawling the forums, so I'm sure it's the mobo that's the key, but you never know!
