IP35 Pro Bios update on a 1.44 MB floppy?

Hi to all. I hope that the members of this forum do not think that this is too elementary a question. I am trying to update the bios on my IP35 Pro. I did read the directions for update, carefully. The directions, on the Abit site, said to make a bootable 1.44 MB floppy by formatting it as a bootable DOS disk. I did that and then tried to copy the 5 extracted bios files from the compressed download. I found that the floppy was way too small to contain all of the system files and the bios files. There was 858K free on the floppy after the formatting but the .bin file in the bios archive was over 1 MB. What should I do.

delete all files from floppy except COMMAND.COM, IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS and you will find enough space to copy
files over and then boot from floppy-or you could use a usb stick which i find is the best-do not use windows flash menu as this is prone to fail and you will have a dead motherboard
