    abit an78gs not Posting

hello in the process of building a computer and i am having some difficulties. it won't post.
no video comes out from the onboard card. theres a red light and green light on the motherboard and the heatsink fan spins. no drives dvd or floppy is hooked up nor hard drive. one stick of ocz fataly 2 gig is installed in dimm 1 even tried the other stick in the same slot. i have even taken out the battery and cleared the cmos. I don't understand what is happening. The board is brand new bought it from California about 4 days ago in a retail box. Any suggestions.

i have tried calling abit support but they seem to be nonexistant in the states.
i have tried two different processors a kuma 7750 and a brisbane 5000 and still nothing
maybe the bios isn't up to date? it says version 1 on the board.

please post exact specific spec - manufacturer & model names etc.
The Kuma at least probably needs a BIOS update before it will work in that mobo but I would have expected the Brisbane to work.
Last version that I kow of is a beta that added Phenom II support http://nf7sextreme.lvcoyote.com/M722B_13.B03.zip

    MSI P55-GD80, i5 750
