AN8 Ultra CPU Support

Hi Fellas this is my first post so if I get it wrong dont be too harsh !!
I want to give my system a boost I have stopped clocking it because I use it for my small business so got to keep it reliable :-) already have 4gig of crucial memory in it so I need to know whats the fastest cpu it will support or list of what the old gal will support, currently I only have a 3000+ in i do some gaming but mainly vidio editing

Oh and I will be putting vista ultimate on too providing there are drivers !!!

So, with an updated BIOS, it should handle Athlon X2, upto FX-60.

not afaik & I don't see why you should have problems getting any drivers.
if you haven't already got the Vista though why not go W7?

I was given a free genuine copy of ultimate about a couple of months ago from a wealthy friend who was upgrading to W7, do you think W7 is that much better ?

it's certainly better but not enough to make it worth buying it compared to a free vista.
