    AHCI with Abit KN9 SLI?

    Hello all together,

I'm new here and I hope you can help me.

Up to now I'm really satisfied with my KN9 SLI Mobo but there is only thing that
doesn't seem to work. I connected an external (SATA 300) harddisk via eSATA bracket to the internal
SATA connector but I can't remove the disk safety (like an USB stick). So I've to shutdown the computer to remove it. Usually I'd activate AHCI in BIOS but there is no option. I read in another thread that there is an equivalent from nvidia in the control panel. I installed the panel but couldn't find any equivalent option (it doesn't even show me my harddisk).

    Any Idea?

    Thank you in advance
