Wow that was quick, thanks for the reply i knew that there was versions 1.0a & 1.1 but didn't know if there was any more in-between before 2.0

it wouldn't matter, worst case a 2.0 card drops to 1.0 speeds
for all intents a sat' card would still work at 1 speeds even it it was rated as 2
