Abit AN8 Comp Won't turn on.

Hey guys, years ago (5) I built my dream rig with the following specs:

Abit An8 mobo
AMD Opteron 165 (overclocked to 2.4ghz)
2 gb RAM
500w PSU
2*80gb SATAI HD in RAID

This system has been working well without a hitch for years. All of a sudden couple days ago it had trouble recognizing one of my USB devices (thumb drive). I didn't think much of it, and thought it was the thumb drive, because i took it out and plugged it in another USB socket, tapped it, and it worked for a bit (had to tap a couple more times because it would not recognize after a while.

Later I powered off my computer. I heard clicking noises from the computer. I looked inside and the post code was flashing FF and .2 alternately. I turned off the power supply and turned it back on. I tried to power up the computer, but the same clicking and post codes happened and no screen post. I powered down and blew inside my computer a bit. It was quite dusty as I haven't opened it for a few years. It turned on okay and went into Windows. I tried to hibernate the system. When I tried turning it back on it refused to and gave me the same clicking noise. After several tries I got the computer to boot up into windows. Problem now is the mouse would not respond. I powered down and tried again, but no luck.

If anybody knows whats wrong, please let me know.

You should try another PSU.
