Hello to you all, this is my first posting here and I am hoping someone can enlighten me, I have Googled quite a bit and don't seem to have found the correct info....

I have my Abit Fatality mobo and currently use a WD 74 GB Raptor HDD as the boot drive running Win7 64 bit, all is well and I have no problems at all.

But I have bought a Corsair F60 SSD and plan on installing that, but I did a lot of reading first to prepare my self and I read that the only tweak Corsair recommends is to 'Enable AHCI' in the BIOS.

I have been thru the BIOS and I can't find any mention of AHCI, but I do know this mobo is SATA2 (3GB) ready.

My question is: Is there an option to enable AHCI on this Abit Fatality mobo?

If not I will use it in the SATA mode until I upgrade, but that raises another question:

The WD 740 HDD is connected using the SATA cable, is this therefore running in SATA mode or IDE emulation mode? i am very confused about this as there are no Win 7 drivers available to load during install, I am using whatever is built in to Win 7.

Looking forward to your replies and I will appreciate your help or guidance!
