AN8 SLI error

I've just got myself an AN8 SLI and I get post error of 83 and then it shuts down...

any ideas guys?


Also, this has replaced an AV8, and that has died with post error of 90

Strange, but with a stock heatsink and fan it now boots, if I replace that with an SK-120 it fails every time!?!?!

getting better and better...now it's displaying 0.4. and one long beep!

Check your memory and graphics card.

Have done..it's just being very strange...boots about once in ten attempts!
I take it the AV8 is shagged then?

On your AN8 is that 83 or 8.3?
8.3. would usually indicate a PSU problem.

8.3 but I'm getting there....appears a faulty graphics card is the issue...although it wasn't faulty when I started....

The AV8 sounds like a fualty bios

have replaced the BIOS with my working BIOS from this AV8 - and no go!
