    Abit Bios Updates.......Poor

    I was just wondering.
Even though the AS8 is an older board now (18months-2 yearsish), can i ask why there hasnt been a bios release for a year.
The platform is still LGA775 so the chips are still plentiful so why no support.

I must admit, i have always used ABIT boards as i find they have fantastic build quality.
Unfortunately the driver and bios updates are poor at best and leaving boards high and dry so people have to buy a new board every other year is wrong and a little underhand imho.
Companies like ASUS dont do it.
Can an ABIT rep please answer this one for me?
    Thanks

There are no new bios updates due to the fact that no new issues have been raised. The AS8 has reached its limits in CPU & hardware support. The drivers are supplied by intel so if any new ones are available they can be found on their site.
