Could i use 140mm fan with adapter on 620?

Been looking about for a higher cfm fan and found Akasa 140mm AK-FN063 fans with 110cfm and a lowish dB of 26dB @ 1600rpm. Would it be possible to use this with a 120<140mm fan adapter I was thinking of mounting the radiator first and then having the adapter and then 140mm fan as a push config blowing out of the case? doing some measurements this setup should fit, or would it just be easier to get 2 of the following AKASA AK-FN059 HDB Viper Fan with 83cfm and 29dB @1900rpm

I was hoping the higher cfm and lower dB of the 140mm fan would beat a push pull setup has anyone tried this?

looking at airflow calcs having two fans in a push pull set up only increases the airflow by about 20% it does however increase the static pressure

to save you messing with the 120-140 adaptors, have you considered some of the 140mm fans which use standard 120mm mountings, this is one such example:

but there are plenty of others if you google them

cfm is nothing without pressure behind it, go for that noctua, i use them and they are quiet put do the job well.

all your going to do with a reducer is force the air through a smaller gap so the db will go up.

Thanks for the help guys wasn't quite sure if it would work i know the static pressure of the akasa is quite high but forgot to take into account the rise in the dB. Going to do a little shopping first thing monday!
