Does anyone know if there is a way to install the boot camp beta on a non-intel based Mac at all?
And if so how would i go about doing this ... ?

Erm I was under the impression that it would only work on an Intel based mac, although I may be wrong?
Yup - installing boot camp on a PowerPC mac would be a BIG waste of time. Windows only runs on an x86 architecture chip, and a PowerPC isn't x86.
you can dual-boot other OSen on a PPC mac without bootcamp - as long as those OSen are for PPC and not for x86
It wouldn't let you do it I believe.
You need an intel mac to get decent performance in windows.

No you can run windows on g4,s via virtual pc from microsoft its just painfully slow

But hey, at least Microsoft Office 2004 doesn't run (did I say run? I meant limp...) like a complete load of crap on your Mac, like it does on mine. Although I have just been given a copy of iWork 08 which should work a bit better
iwork is much more user friendly and the amount of features kicks MS all the way!! my presentations are much easier to prepare and looks soooooo much better
