    Re: mac vs pc

    Actually, it's a valid question.

If your friend is talking about hardware, that's clearly absurd, both platforms use the same hardware, only PC hardware is generic, cheaper, and generally ahead of mac hardware.

If your friend is talking about the OS (a.k.a the classical shortsighted OSX vs. Windows), well, point him out to *BSD or Linux.

Justify this, what are your reasons and what is your argument?

Dont even try and quote any of the mac v.s. pc ad's.

    Re: mac vs pc

the question is not which is better

the question is: what software do you want to run?

    Beginning and end of discusssion.

    Re: mac vs pc

personally, i can't stand anything apple, but there are plenty of people that love them, it all boils down to personal preference, but whats the point in arguing over something so trivial........

The current gen mac's can run alot of things a 'normal' pc can, you can have XP or Vista on the machine as well, heck Apple pre-built into Leopord there bootcamp software.

So yeah it all depends on what you want out of a computer etc, but this topic has been discussed to death not only here, but pretty much all over the internet.

Use the search function next time, or try google?
