    Time Capsule anyone?

    Hi,

I'm wanting to get a NAS solution, though I'm scared of restricting myself to Mac only backups if I get a Time Capsule. Does anybody know if this is the case?

    Thanks,
    Richard

p.s. I have a MacBook Pro, but also a couple of PC that need backing up.

you can get cheaper NAS with the same spec as the time machine but of course the time machine looks nicer

I'm using freenas... This can share a directory as not only samba/CIFS or NFS, it can also serve AFP.

Not yet using it in anger for this, but will try it and let you know.
