Gordy, I love your setup...it's well *clean*!! Just took some shots of my 'work in progress' yesterday...
As you enter the room,
Different perspective. The 23" ACD was purchased new along with the Mac Pro; both covered by a nice 3-year ACPP
Close up of the Mac Pro I got recently, along with my 24/7 torrent server running Ubuntu,
Some seriously nice setup in here.
Here are some pics of my last setup - taken in December.

I will update this thread when the new Mac Pro & ACD arrive - probably in 2 weeks time. 8-day build time thanks a silly Airport Express card. Sold the above Mac on eBay for £550, so I'm currently using Vista on an Advent laptop - its actually not as bad as I thought though.
Thanks. It's a tip today, but I need to do a reorganise as I'm not liking the current layout. I have a new phone and funky picture holder that needs to be squeezed in.
Looks nice. That desk looks like a big chunk of wood. Where did you get it?
my g/f has one

Thanks Gordy, not a million miles away from looking similar to yours - although not as custom!
I purchased the wood top from IKEA about 3 years ago, think it was about £100. It's just strips of pine laminated together, 2" thick. Turned out very good value for money and it fits the space perfectly - just under 2m long.
@rastamanblues: I know exactly what you mean. Right-click is 'tempremental' and I won't get into the scroll ball - but still I use it daily.
Here are some updated pics of my Mac setup. I also added a couple of photos to the walls to break it up a little, still minimalist though.

Well working backwards from my most current. Pre-unibody (Sept '08) MacBook Pro 15.4" matte screen with 4GB crucial RAM 200GB 7200rpm, a Marathon PowerRack G3 400 Mhz studio rackmount (genuine mac components in a Marathon case with noisy fans) 256MB OSX 10.3.4 and a Mac PowerBook G3 Lombard Bronze 333 Mhz 192MB running OSX 10.3.4 and system 9.2 which I'll be using to link with and file transfer Bernoulli drive data from a Mac Quadra 900 (graphic design set-up) running system 7.something (I'm going to be upgrading it to system 8.1) at an acoustics firm who resolutely blanked the Mac!
Hey, new boy here.
I (will) have a new unibody MacBook 2.4Ghz, with 4gb RAM - arrives Wed/Thurs!
Bought for work but will become surgically attached to me I suspect.
My first real Mac - I also have 2 hackintoshes (one MSI Wind U100 and one custom-built PC by me) but they're too much hassle in the end, so bought the real thing!
Also have a iPhone 3G 8gb - on T-Mobile
So, yeah, hi!
I've got my trusty 2008 edition Macbook Pro, it's pretty much fully maxed out (including a 256GB OCZ Vertex SSD). I prefer the looks of this Macbook to the newer one... I think it's got a timeless look and feel to it
I've got this one, for production its phenominal:
Having only just come to the end of my time at uni I thought I'd take the opportunity to purchase a mac before I left.
I was going to go for the macbook white, but my mate pushed me to the Macbook Pro 13.3" (brand new) I'm so glad he pushed me to it, because I had a bit of luck.
When I received the macbook and unpacked it, I noticed 3 small dents in the bottom corner (forming, almost a rectangle), I wasn't pleased, so rang up Apple, and they immediately offered me a partial refund (as altho I am normally anal about these sort of things, its on the bottom, and anything to make it cheaper, so long as inside and the top looks ok, is good with me )
This linked in with the Snow Leopard Up-to-date Program (£7.95) and the free iPod (iPod 16gb Nano) Back-to-school programme.
Which made it a ridiculously cheap macbook, having sold the ipod, should get the cheque through shortly, and I get the next OS. So I'm happy
Especially considering I managed to sell my 3 yo white macbook (core duo) for £500 (on ebay), it was a decent upgrade, for another 3 year warranty

Man that is a clean desk, need to get some better speakers. The built in MacBook (White/2.4Ghz/4Gb/320Gb) ones are ok just not loud enough to hear clearly.
