full screen divx on an iB

right ive got a load of divx movies, (created them so i dont have to take all my dvds on hols, theyll be on the HD)

but i cant find a program that will allow me to full screen them, quicktime leaves loads of space at the top and bottom, seen as its my 12" iB i need all the screen i can get

VLC is your friend, it will handle nearly all movie formats, and can full screen.

i think does it not depend though what format your original dvd's are in - if its 2.35 then you will get a border regardless, 1.85 no border etc.

I could be way off since i have no mac, but just going from dvd experience

i'm abit annoyed you cant full screen in quicktime, it would seem like a pretty obvious thing to do....

you will be able to in quicktime 7, but you'll need to wait for tiger for that..
