I couldnt resist. I was wasting my time trying to get a free copy through the up-to-date scheme, so I popped in my credit card on the UKHE page. Low and behold. after ordering it from the site, 28th April, 12pm, it arrived on the 29th at 4pm. Hows that for next day delivery .

Anyone who does have tiger now, there are tonnes of free widgets to be found on the apple downloads site, or through clicking "get more widgets" when placing them around the screen. I love the dancing hula girl on my desktop!

As for the other improvements, spotlight is very effective I might add. It takes just over 1 second to find any query on my mac mini, and the results are very good. I'm yet to try the automator, but I havent yet thought of something I might "automate". Its a shame I cant try out the new iChat yet, as nobody I know is using it, let alone have an apple mac, but hey....I think I may be able to convert them

Overall, I was expecting slightly more in this release, but then again, this is a significant improvement over panther.

I got a copy even though the mac I am using was bought wayyyyyyyyy before that

I'll stick some screenshots in here, but Im not sure if you will be able to see them or not. I have a feeling that the host I use is firewalled (its my uni server), but I'll give it a go anyway
