Oh, and the iPods support voice recording now

well itunes fully works with it.
battery meter is enhanced.
new game music quiz.
improved play back.
backlight improved.
otg is saved with itunes
works with new peripherals ( mic and card reader )
support for aac for windows

screen doesnt hang as much either

also it seem likes volume has been raised or it sounds better

iTunes for windows

Uses more RAM than Outlook (40mb with no songs playing)

Stops playing when your computer becomes locked

Has no "always on top" option or "system-tray only" option

eats CPU cycles

the UI is nice tho.

you can tyurn things off and it doesnt use as much cpu

remember this is technically first generation software for apple. It's not that bad for 1st gen software.

It certainly transfers songs to my iPod a lot faster than MusicMatch Jukebox.

Haven't really noticed the RAM/CPU issue but I wouldn't be surprised if it did this.

Let's hope they actually update the Windows version on a regular basis and iron out these problems.

If you want speedy transfers, get ephPod. Free software an its so much better than itunes etc.

I found that ephPod crashed every now and again.

There's also xPlay but you have to pay for that.

I've been looking forward to this for some time cos I don't like music match, unfortunatly it won't install as I keep getting the error message "the dll being called encountered a problem"

any ideas?
