    One more thing.....?

Well whats Steve Jobs going to say about this then?

I've heard so many different things like Video iPods, upgrades to notebook range, Microsoft buying them out (lol), Mac's now shipping with XP :-).

    What do you think?

One more thing .... is a meeting on 12th! TODAY!!

someone told me apple is going to release a new ipod with video capture function or camera at least. some other sources said apple would release a madonna themed pink color ipod nano....

and some saying apple will double the size of ipod photos to 80gb to make a gap between ipod/ipod photos and nanos/shuffles

    curtsey of appleinsider.com - shamelessly copied/paste:

    New application called "Photobooth".
    New iMacs 1.5GHz - 2.1GHz in 17" and 20". Prices $1299, $1359, $1699, $1759. iMacs come with FrontRow Bluetooth Remote, iSight, .
2000 music videos available from iTunes Music Store.
    iTunes 6.0 on its way.
Apple has announced the iPod with video capabilities. 320 x240 resolution 2.5-inch screen. MPEG4.
Apple has reportedly blocked cell phone access, and hence live coverage, from today's special event.
    Still waiting on news feed...
We are expecting new iMacs (see previous report on iMacs with iSight and Media card reader, etc), PowerMacs (2X Dual Core) and Video iPods.
    Waiting for event to start...
Event begins at 1 PM ET.

New ipods look nice, but the lack of updates for the powerbooks is very dissapointing.

Tho the 60gb ipod could finally tempt me into getting one as I hate white stuff and it could replace my back drive

I suspect the reason for not updating the P/B's is that they are working on other things *cough* Yonah *cough*

Yeah they well be but it hasnt been updated in years and even the ibook has had a bump since then. Surely the "pro" level laptops need to be sorted first. The intel powerbook is at least a year away so as it stands now they will be selling a 2.5year old machine by then. And at top price. If any other computer manu did that they would be laughed into 0 sales.
