PC World installing boot camp on their macbook pro's

I went for a bit of shopping on monday and I popped into to PC World for a wonder around. I got as far as the small Apple section they have there and was surprised to find a Macbook Pro. Not only that it was running windows! They were advertising the new bootcamp features to try to attract some new apple switchers. I didn't think I'd see the day they could get a member of the purple shirt brigade to do something that complicated!

I took a quick picture with my mobile to show it in action, they'd even installed 3dmark on it

I was very surprised to see this at pc world!

I'd put money on a disk image provided by head office

Just had a closer look at that image. What did the notice say at the bottom, next to the price label? I can't make it out from your blog

Its a generic kind of message explaining what bootcamp does and that its a beta that works on intel macs only.

Along with a bit saying pc world and apple will not support bootcamp etc.

Kind of makes sense. If you can say to somebody that this laptop runs Windows XP here or for a little extra you can have this laptop which runs XP and OS X then it might lead to more sales.

    Cheers,
    Stephen
