Issues with Adium

Was quite happily using Adium until a couple of days ago, but it keeps bombing out on me - has anyone else had similar issues?

Here's what happens:

Computer: iMac 17" intel core duo 1.83 GHZ
OSX version 10.4.8
I open Adium, it loads up fine. About 4 or 5 seconds after i start typing, it completely bombs out and brings up the error reporting screen.

Here's the log that console.app outputs:

Anyone had anything similar?

BTW, if I completely uninstall (that is, remove the files that it adds to the library folder as well) and install a fresh version on a different MacOS user account on the same computer, it works perfectly :-S
