cheers howard, although thats a bit expensive for me, as i can now no longer afford the Q5 fronts
im cutting the budget right back to allow me to replace the CRT's on my desktop with Hanns G's
that center looks good though.
Mike, sweet setup as always when you having a hexus meet at your house
Uchiha, the Wii is connected to the dell just using composite, as i couldn't afford to buy the component cable at the time of purchase (i really was that short of 20 quid)
it looks alright from a distance, but if you go in close, you can see the floweriness
will be moving over to component soon though, once i get the AVR too.
Mike, replied to your PM, if anyone else is interested, its Roxanne Pallet
You'd have to fly over to Sri Lanka first Steve

Nice sets. I dont know too much about this all, no where near a HD setup yet (probably around Easter time I can afford a decent set). Are Denon a very good make? We've got a set of hi-fi speakers just sitting on a shelf at work, and they arent going to be sold, looking more like being threw away. Manager will probably let me have them for a tenner, is that a good bargain to grab? Just got a standard Hitatchi Hi-FI atm.
Also Nick, what colour are your walls? Im looking at decorating my room, and id love something around that colour.
I'm gonna post again, Howard - that's a v. nice setup. I like it cause it is clean and you can't see many cables, 'cept the one snaking down the left speaker.
You guys also DO have the advantage of not requiring any UPSes, and I have them for power isolation rather than for backup purposes. My setup is run off 4KVA in total, which is quite a bit tbh.
I've just signed up with a different local company for satellite TV (cometcable.com) so when they come to install the antenna it'll force me to get behind my setup to wire in the decoder, I plan to pull out the gamecube and PS2, which are never used!
Is it me of is that dell tilted a bit too much to the right?
you seriously need to move into a house man
you simply cant do that system any justice in a bedroom
still it takes me back to when I was in a similar position many years ago
heres mine from a few years back, nothing much changed other than the monoblocs have found a new home
