    Car Makers Building Bikes...

From Carol Shelby....the man that brought you this:

    and this:

    and this:

    Now comes........this:

SHELBY is a marque if distinction in the world of cars - Carroll Shelby brought the world the Cobra, among others - and now they're introducing a motorcycle to their range.

Carroll Shelby International and Rucker Performance have unveiled a limited production Shelby Motorcycle at the Cincinnati V-Twin Expo. The motorcycle has been developed by the team and will be produced by Rucker Performance. The motorcycle is powered by a new S&S X-Wedge 128 c.i.d. (around 2000cc) engine that delivers a 150 bhp to the back wheel.

Each Shelby Motorcycle will be painted according to the customer’s taste and will also bear a special edition logo.

The initial production will be very limited and will be contained to just 25 motorcycles that will be made available in Q3 this year.

Shelby commented that the formula for success is the use of a powerful American motor in a light-weight chassis, although 150bhp is a lot for a bike, getting that out of a 2000cc engine is hardly going to win anyone an engineering award.

It has racing-style front forks and a high-performance braking system, with ceramic brake discs and most an shifter-system.
    Looks awesome!

Wonder if it goes round corners?

    Nice.

They don't have corners in America. It will have to cope with stupid/sudden changes in road elevation angle though. Looks like the rear suspension changes height.
