    xsi= 134 bhp

    gti=167 (mine=178)

    quite a difference, yeh it may be overkill but they are so notorious for it i dont wanna risk it, and you know oldish car needs to be looked after espec as they are getting rarer as rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish put them through walls, and they get scrapped.

    Too. Much. Information.

    FWD too - SEAT did make a Cupra with 4WD but it was never sold in the UK (much like the V6 Leon wasn't).

    It's not too bad tbh - the only real issue is the traction control (which is rubbish, so you turn it off) - the chassis will handle 280bhp odd (av. figure post-chipping) without too much trouble and the brakes (brembo) are excellent. Engines/drivetrain's good for 330bhp without major mods. If you're into traffic light racing then no FWD is much good - the only way to combat the inherent problem is to fit a torque biasing diff (1200quid). The Megane R26(?) has one as standard now..
