    Clean Car

    In preparation for a car show i'm going to next weekend i decided to give the car a quick clean. I've washed the wheels, clay barred them, polished them, and Zymol carbon waxed them Got all the nasty brake dust off them. Then I dressed the new tyres with some meguiars tyre gel. I might find time to wax the car sometime this week.

    Yeh... I'm going to wax it one evening this week. Got my Swissol Wax sitting in the fridge

    £30 on the spot fine I believe. Most cops don't seem bothered though.

    Nice car . I need to learn how to clean and wax mine properly. It's got paint swirls on it in the clearcoat. Any tips on how to wax it and what stuff to buy? I'm only a student, so nothing too expensive

    You can be given 3 points for it as well if the cop feels like it. Someone on ClubPolo got done for it. Most will just make you change them to UK plates though.

    Thanks mate I was the same... thats why i done all this work to the car.


    Heres some BEFORE photos before i modified it.






    I carry my UK style reg plate in the boot of the car and can be swapped over in 10 seconds since the plates are held on with Velcro

    Also, that is a serious transformation. I generally dont like TT's but that one is stunning.

    I decided to wax the car this morning... Got up at 6.30 and started on the paintwork.

    Zymol HD Cleanse and then finished off with Zymol Carbon Wax for the black roof and Swissol Onyx wax for the silver paintwork.


    This is what it looks like at 6.45am.





    3 hours later..................
