insurancec group is quite irrelevant to an extent, get some quotes on cars then you will know the cost..
A saxo vtr is only group 7 or 8 but will cost you alot more than a ford of the same group like a focus?

I will have to give a few insurance companys a call, see what they quote for these different cars!!
Thanks dudes!
Try Quinn Direct and Liverpool Victoria. They were the two cheapest for me. If you're thinking of getting a Bravo, you could phone Adrian Flux and Chris Knott and mention that you are a member of the Bravo Owners Organisation (www.fiatboo.co.uk). We get pretty big discounts with them, and club membership is only a fiver for a year.

Yeah it is a discount off of the insurance. When you ring Chris Knott or Adrian Flux, you mention that you are part of the Bravo Owners Organisation and they give you a quote including the discount. You'll need to give them your member number if you want to take the quote, so you will have to actually join
The discount varies depending on your age/car etc. It's usually around 15/20% though as far as I know.
If you do get a Bravo, the site is really good for help and advice etc.
Thanks for that dude, i will be taking that into consideration!!
np, my bravo is my first car . So much better than everything else I was looking at, Fiestas, Saxos etc.
When did you get yours? how old were you when you got it? and how much was your first insurance??
I think that they are nice cars!! i dont really see that many of them about neither!!
I got mine in April, about 5 days after I passed my test
I'm 18, and my insurance is £1300 fully comp with Liverpool Victoria. My car is the 80SX model, which is a 1.2 16v.
I live in a bad postcode for insurance though, because it's shared with a bad area. If I moved house about half a mile down the road, it would only be £600 because the postcode changes
Well i dont suppose you would be able to have a quick search for a bargain 1.2 for me? would have to be within 20 miles of congleton...
seeing as you seem to like them
Give me your postcode and I'll see what there is
edit: A quick look has brought up these two:

The blue one looks to be in good condition. There might be a couple of dents by the passenger side rear light, or it could just be jpeg compression. It's the same age as mine. Make sure that any Bravo you have a look at has the Red Key with it as well as preferably 2 blue ones, although 1 red and 1 blue will do. The red key is needed to program new keys into the ecu, and to start the car if you ever have any problems.
