If I had the money, I'd have this in an instant. Absolute bargain.

Insurance might be a bit too much though

This looks ok too, but there's a dent on the drivers side rear quarter

I've always found the best insurance through confused.com - even after searching through and checking with all the insurance companies not listed through them.

Obviously its not in the same class as those two, but because of depreciation, its put them in a whole new class, and they spank the competition like the fiestas, corsas, saxos imo. If you can put up with the Fiat reputation anyway . They are reliable if looked after properly. They just take a bit more work than something like a fiesta with the endura engine would.

I may be a bit late on this one but all the same...

Once upon a time I had a car decision to make and both Brava HGT and Xsara Coupe VTi were on the list. They were 2/3 the cost of the competition and I knew the Citroen at least would be an entertaining steer. Yet I am glad I avoided them because 70% of cars I see tended to at the roadside are French, 20% Fiat and 10% the rest.

Being more objective all your suggested opposition sould run rings around a Brava. They'd be cheaper to insure and run and likely be more fun while doing it. The Brava wins hands down on space and ride comfort but then it should. After that it's case starts to look a little shakey. (IMHO ofc)

That said I'd recommend anything wholeheartedly over a bespoilered 1l Saxo if it meant you avoid the ignomy being steriotyped a hooligan!
