    Thanks Guys

Redlight! i'd of been terrified at that! talk about throwing ya in at the deep end!

Jon said he'll get me insured on his Laguna, and the thought of diving that big thing is a bit nerveracking, I said we'll go somewhere quiet at first, though i'm determined not to be one of these People that shy away from driving big Cars

    Ooh, well done

I'm looking to get going driving this year, and pass ASAP - don't necessarily want a car, but I want to pass my test atleast - just to get it done!

BTW, if you want to get a good price on your insurance I have used confused.com for 3 lots of car insurance and my travel. Each time I saved a bucket load, so as much as I hate their adverts I have to reccomend them.

Well done, it doesn't really matter how many times it takes you to pass, I often think that the more times you take the test the better driver it makes of you.

I passed mine first time, although I thought I failed it, he had me doing a hill start on a vert steep hill and the car refused to engage first gear, after revving it hard I finally got the car moving and on my way again, and I thought oh well that it, anyway later on in the test he got me doing a reverse round a corner, it was down a hill and then up a hill, I wasn't going to let that beat me so nailed it really well.

All you have to remember is you learn to drive at a certain standard to pass the test, and when you get out there on the roads it's now that your real driving test begins

Well done for passing first time my left corner reverse was a sweeping uphill, that's my best maneouvre though always has been. Can't believe I hit the kerb on my turn in te road, that's something I never did in lessons.

I had the "real learning starts now" lecture off my ADI, and some other waffle about not getting more than 6 points etc etc I said it's taken me long enough to get this license and i'm going to take care of it

Thanks g8ina, i'll look into it
