You don't seem to be having much luck with cars do you?
How about a Tank?
Looking good though, shame about the accident but these things happen. Was the other driver insured?

yea, he was luckily, so just waiting on the insurance now, there coming out to view the car in the next few days, and tel me whats going to happen, but they aint writing it off, lol, i want it repairing, as ive just had a bill off the garage i had some work done on the engine and brakes and it came to £507 , so they cant write it off, haha
They probably will write it off, but that just means they'll give you the value of the car less its 'scrap value' if you keep it. When someone ran into the back of my MR2 they reckoned it was worth £1500 before the accident (which, TBH, it almost certainly wasn't), and was worth £200 afterwards as scrap- so they sent me a cheque for £1300. That would have been more than enough to fix the damage, but I spent all the money on beer before I could get round to it.
Shame to see about the accident, looks like a well maintained car. But do be prepared for a write-off, the £500 you spent would be seen as "maintaining the car" and thereby not adding any value, had the same thing with my wife's car.

Can you not buy it back and do the work yourself ??
yea i can, but i dont know it i want to have a car with a Cat C mark on it, as it will be a ballache to sell
right was on the phone to the insurance company yesturday, and its a Cat C write off , but i ve decided to get it repaired, they offered me £1200 for it and i get to keep the car, so not bad, considering i paid £1000 about 6months ago, keep watchin there will be some pics of the repair soon
I thought you would, doesn't seem like it's been damaged too badly so shouldn't be too hard to put right
I remeber a mate of mine actually buying a cat c write off, he got it back on the road and it was a really great work horse car.
yea ive bought a few, but i actually wanted a car which hasnt had an insurance payout on it, lol. might be fitting my headlights tomoz and on monday booking it into a bodyshop
When it was in one piece, I have to say it was one of the better looking 306's I've seen for some time. A mate of mine has just had a GTI6 written off, no chance of buying it back, he was cut free from it with the jaws of life.
right slight update, the pug is in the bodyshop getting sorted, ive won a new rear bumper for it, and got myself a new cat back exhaust thanks to awattam so that will be getting fitted tomoz, and need to wait for this rear bumper to arrive, then get that sprayed and fitted, while its in i have decided to get the bump strips painted now, and also bidding on a mk4 astra splitter, to be put on, and that auction finishes soon, so that can be fitted when i eventually get the pug back and if i win it, also, my black halos will be fitted and the ph2 rears, and hopefully some new suspension to lower it between 30-40mm, but that will have to wait till i eventually get the £1200 off the insurance,
will get some pics when its all done for you
cheers

right bit of an update, but there will be more pics for you all next week of the whole car
sent me wheels off to get refurbed two days ago, i picked them up about 2hours ago, and they look really good, should get the pug back tomoz so i will get some pics when ive added some of my bits to it.
so heres the before and after pics of the wheels
Before:
After:
hope you like
Will be good to see them fitted.
On their own they do look good though. I think i like that style in white more than I do in silver. Shame your Pug isn't red though
I was thinking that too... blue would work well with those wheels too, but they deffo look better in white than silver.
