Re: **Stolen** Honda Accord Sport 1.8

    Bet its not been stolen...

I think its more likely one of the old farts that lives near you is in the masons or is the friend of someone at the Police station and they've complained cos its parked outside there house and not yours and the Police have towed it away.

Seeing as they didnt contact you and betting that there was no notice on the car I'm sure you'll get it back when the missus complains as its her only mode of transportation and shes not long had child etc etc...

Re: **Stolen** Honda Accord Sport 1.8

Panic over, Seems it hasn't been stolen, the policed authorized it to be taken away due to obstructing a drive, which is rubbish as to be honest the railings don't look like a driveway and there are always cars there, including another one right now, but today there is a hand painted sign saying no parking outside the gate. Also the police did nothing to contact us with regards to moving it and it had been there for less than 24hrs...

So now we have to try and find £112 to have it released and we have to wait until tomorrow to collect it.

So i will be filing an official complaints form too

Re: **Stolen** Honda Accord Sport 1.8

Don't they usually make an effort to call you before removing your car? I know when Dad's car was deemed as obstructing a bus route (not actually his car, but someone else parked opposite him who had already told the police to bugger off) they phoned the registered keeper to ask him to move it...?

Thing that gets me is we live 5 mins walk tops and they have all this vehicle identity equipment, yet they choose not to use it, already spoken to someone who has given us some assistance in the direction to take....
