    My New Car :)

Well heres my new V6, I picked it up at the weekend and am really chuffed with it. Glacier White with 120k on the clocks but still running well.
Not a spot of rust on it, in excellent condition but still needs a few jobs doing to it

My list of jobs to do (not in order)

    Lower Suspension -40mm

17" DTM Style Alloys (In White)

    Cat 1 Alarm and Immobiliser

    Delocked colour coded handles

New Thermostat (Running very cold at the moment and heater only gives out warm air not hot)

    New rocket gaskets.

Interior light needs rewiring to the correct wire and not the ignition live.

Idle speed needs to be increased a little.

My private plate needs to be put back on.

    Headlining needs gluing back up.

Interior needs a damned good clean.

    Vauxhall mats

    Big clean with TCut

OIl + Volt Guages need installing.

    New pioneer headunit needs installing.

Need to get a V6 trip computer

Traction control needs sorting out (light stays on constantly)

Brake pad wear sensors need replacing.

Drilled & Grooved discs all around.

    DTM Vinyls for the sides.

    HIDS

    Small Irmscher Spoiler

A louder exhaust (probably in stainless)

Post Facelift bonnet without the badge

And for sometime when ive got a bit more money, 3 litre cams, 4 bar fpr supercharger and maybe an F28 (6 speed box)

So many plans! I want her up to the standard of my black redtop. Ill get there eventually

    Cheers

    Fraggie

    £4000 to repair it?

Only kidding, nice find though especially at £400, presuming you'll do the repairs yourself. There's nothing better than doing a job yourself. Hope all goes well, mate.

    Re: My New Car :)

sorry trig, hate black now it looks horrible uncleaned and as for the turbo my wallet cant stretch that far yet the noise of the V6 will keep me going

400 quid is a bargain to be honest, theres no real repairs (only the rocket gasket and stat) everything else i want to do are upgrades really

My black XE is now with a new (and happy) owner, hopefully ill get this up to the standard of my black one (only a lot faster )

Good motor for the money, but I'd avoid putting HIDs in something like that. You'd need projector lenses first before HIDS would be worth the money.

    Re: My New Car :)

HID's are a great addition to the Calibra tbh, I had some, made no end of difference and meant I didnt have to be driving round with the front fogs on all the time it was dark
