well shes now got some better looking alloys they are in need of a refurb but they'll do for now.

They are 18" Team Dynamics Mesh Alloys, with Pirelli and Michelin rubber (all tyres with well over 5 mm tread)

only cost 150 quid , no buckles just kerbed.

HID seems to be the new trend. I can see why its so popular though. Come down in price loads and is so much better than OEM stuff. Plus it looks trick. I think the more colourful end of the spectrum the weaker the light output gets though.

    Re: My New Car :)

HID's are great - just fitted them to the mrs' new VW Polo - made the world of difference, as the stock halogen lights are sooooo weak, it was really hard to see anything in the dark at all!

Loving the new shoes on that vauxhall.... I am seriously considering a vauxhall as a good replacement for my Rover600, ones like that above just look ace...plus people dont expect you to get out of one wearing your slippers and smoking a pipe :/

Liking that Calibra alot, good to see another Vauxhall owner on these forums I've got a Vectra myself. Want some alloys for it though, it's screaming out for them.

Be kind to it, there's some awful Chavaliers out there, most of them Calibras

    Re: My New Car :)

Poor wording on my part. I had ment keep the looks and style stock / subtle. Like Trigs black one that iirc was debadged and that was about it.

    Re: My New Car :)

Yup, facelift bonnet, means no griffin on the front, removed Calibra, Turbo, and 4x4 badges, the only hints to its point were the brakes, if you could see thru the fan blade wheels, the seats and the FMIC that you could just see thru the chin hole..

Pic here taken pre facelift bonnet.

Thats how I like my cars, looks pretty standard from the outside, yet with nigh on 300bhp (never RR'd in its complete state altho it was involved in a race against a V6 Calibra with 100shot of NOS on it) it was good for annoying people in things more exotic..
