    ice in car

anyone else had this?? i opened my car yesterday morning (had to scrape the windows first cos of thick frost) and the INTERIOR of the windscreen/rear windscreen/sunroof etc was frozen as well? ive never seen it before.. i dont normally have much of a problem with condensation so i was a bit suprised - does it mean something is hiddeously wrong with my mota?

I get that every now and then, just plain annoying!

Ages ago my car used to let water in through the membrane behind the drivers door window, so the inside of my car was soaked! I borrowed a de-humidifier from someone and got loads of water out, sorting it for a while

You can try the Hexus/Zak patented heaters on max towards the footwells with windows closed, then gradually open the windows to try and get rid of some moisture.

Yep I had this too, Zak's advice works a treat, but fk it went through petrol like no-ones business, best to do it right the first time tho, lots of cars had condensation on there windows this morning, mine was stunning lacking - I was most pleased.

i'd not seen it before.. might open the doors and boot on the next dry day and let the whole lot dry out. there is a gap by the drivers door but water cant pour in in any way.. any tips for getting it off? i think just scraping it to the inside of the car might be a bit counter-productive lol

I had this once on my old Clio, but thankfully it was the day the buyer was coming to collect it

its deffo a condensation problem....wet feet, wet carpets, and the most likely in your Volve 5labster....is the boot.

Lift the carpet in the boot and see...and the rear floor carpets....have a good feel about...

it prob needs drying thoroughly...lots of heat needed

    sorry dude...the only way.
