Anyone else work in miles per pound?

I do.

Since I really can't be bothered to a) fit my fuel computer or b) sit and work out MPG. I just know £20, at the moment, will see me 150 miles down the road. It's actually quite a nice way to directly compare economy. £10 of LPG, after all, tends to get one a lot further.

It also keeps you informed of the changing cost of motoring. Gone are the days of my 10p mile.

Somehow I think this would cost me pounds from my waistline.

Less than $0.10 per mile in my car. Although I got $0.05 two years ago

i'm only 16.. so it's the only means of travel for me atm, or i could get a screamer (ped) and drive that, but i'd rather not tbh.

I do think 350 miles on £35 is bad tbh.. It works out between 40 and 50 miles to the gallon depending on the driving style but it's getting too expensive for me to run as a student

I can't bring myself to get an oil burner though so I shall just ignore my bank statements until I get a job lol

If I could get that sort of economy id be laughing! Although I did trade in a dirty great diesel!

Last filled up with Shell Optimax (114.9p/l) for around £38 and that was for about 267 miles.

And i wouldnt have it any other way
