Evenin.

I've had a look around a few sites regarding car rental, but havent seen what I want, I.E. a choice of the car you rent.

So anyway, has anyone here rented a car and actually chosen what car it is?

All the car rental places i've used just give you a choice of class e.g.

City: Fiat Seicento or Daewoo Matiz (1.0/1.1)
Small: Corsa or Fiesta (1.0/1.2)
Medium: Focus or Seat Leon (1.6/TDi)
Large: Never bothered with this option
Executive: depends on the company whether they do this one

The prices are obviously reflected in the class you want, and usually age and points restrictions apply.

At the last place I worked they used Enterprise Rental regularly and they would let us pick if they had more than one in at that class rating. For example letting me pick between a Leon TDi or an Astra SXi - I chose the Leon, becuase I hadn't driven one before

Never known one to let you specifically choose the make and model etc. as they have so many coming and going now that you can do one way rentals etc. so the stock changes.
