I wouldn't have been able to use the HID Kit on the Standard Bravo Headlamps as they weren't designed for them, tis the main reason I upgraded to the Marea Headlamps so I could install a HID Kit.

Now as for the LED Sidelights, I'm pretty sure that they aren't Road Legal, even though they are sold as 'Road Legal' Still, I drove my Corrado for 1 year with 'Off Road Use Only' 110w Headlamp Bulbs and never once got pulled by the plods so I can't see it happening with the HID Kit or LED Sidelights, I'm more likely to get pulled over for speeding than something like that.

True enough, but that's not what the OP said. I'd still like to know what the insurance is after he declares all the mods.

    You quoted my answer already.
Why so interested in how much insurance I paid?
    >Are you gonna buy exactly the same 1999/T Bravo HGT with 36k miles on the clock and the same mods as me, are you 27 Years old with 4 Years NCD and 3 Points? If not then it doesn't matter how much I personally paid cos chances are your Insurance quote will be different to mine so can we please now move on from Insurance?

    Re: My New car

No, I'm angling after the fairly likely scenario that having insured your car on day one of ownership and then spending the next two months mildly barrying it, you haven't actually declared *all* of the modifications to your insurer (as you seem to confirm above) and are therefore driving around uninsured. Tell me I'm wrong.

Yes, you're wrong, well mostly. I insured the car as standard before I picked it up, then upon every *major modification* I phoned up my insurance company to notify them of the modifications.

    *Marea Headlamps with HID Kit
    *SS Exhaust System
    *Induction Kit
*Uprated Alarm system with de-locked handles
    *Uprated ICE

I don't need to declare little things that would be covered under the accessories part of the insurance like the tax disc holder & audio cables. The tyres, side repeaters & blue vision bulbs are also covered by the standard insurance policy.

You're making me out to look like a total , I would never knowingly drive with no car insurance, I despise people who do that, even worse when they don't even have a drivers license.

I suppose you'll be wanting some written proof from my Insurance company now will you?
WTF dude, I have FULLY COMP Insurance, end of.

Well this thread has gone awry, even after the Mod said 'Less of the snapping please'

Nope, I'm just asking pertinent questions, just like an insurance company might. It's your hysterical reply that's making you look like a total fishslice.

You seem to be confusing driving with *no* insurance with driving with *invalidated* insurance. I'm not in the slightest suggesting the former. Also, I never mentioned driving without a license, that's just obfuscation by you.

No, no proof required, only a little contemplation. As above, you only have FULLY COMP insurance if you haven't invalidated it.

Why thank you for the Cookie.

He's on Ignore list now: "Out of sight, out of mind"

I've got the Logitech Z-5500 surround kit for my rig, suits me nicely for gaming, it'll wipe the floor with my ICE, but then again my Home Entertainment system surround sound will wipe the floor with the PC Kit, heh.

Ducks you say, hmm, I estimate room for about 12, unless of course you double/tripple stack them.

Looks a good motor mate, not my taste as I am not a fiat fan, Audi A3 FTW.

One of my collegues has a Stilo Abarth and it goes like stink, but it's showing typical Fiat reliability so far.

And just ignore Shmuck, I used to run 100/80w bulbs in the LR without a single problem, and if the Pug didn't have plastic headlamps in then it'd get them too!

And just ignore Shmuck, I used to run 100/80w bulbs in the LR without a single problem, and if the Pug didn't have plastic headlamps in then it'd get them too!
Thanks, the A3 is a very nice car, but too rich for me atm, got any pics?

    Re: My New car

Unfortunatley I am currently in a **** car phase owing to some rough times that basically brought my life around my knees, but I still miss my old A3 so much, got a pic somewhere hang on

Sure the fiat is great for you, and would wipe the floor with what I drive now. But hopefully I might be able to get back into the cars I love in the future
