White cars are such a fad!

I was walking to work today and saw a brand new Vauxhall Vectra in white...

I'm sorry but white cars are just wrong - and apologies to anyone who has one - but they may look very nice in all the press release pictures - but when you buy it, take it home, it just looks bad, and in a month or two when it's dirty it'll look even worse, and in two - three years when everyone realises they are a fad, they'll look even worse... and be worth even less.

White should only be used on company vans. Full stop. Hence the term "White Van Man"

Agreed. I had the choice between my current car and the same car in white - both were similar milage, the white one was a year newer and so would have saved me 100 quid a year in tax.. but that was a price I was more than willing to pay not to have white car

I used to think exactly the same...until I visited Taiwan!

Over there you see loads of shiney white cars, and some high-end ones too. Looked a bit perculiar at first, but they soon grew on me. I saw a white Aston Martin, and it just looked ace. Though, that could have been the Aston Martin rather than the colour.



I'd hate to have a white car here in the midlands, but in really sunny countries they can look pretty cool. Honest!

In a country with a hot climate, I'd take a white car over a black car anyday Not my favourite colour for a car, although I still think it looks ok.

Jap Cars in white look great imo. Especially the Type R's

White is the best 1-series colour I've seen so far.
Needs the sport suspension and 3dr body though to be at its best.

Also MK2 GTi's look fine in white.

I loved the EVO arcticle with this impreza against the gallardo. Just so happens my dad has made an order for one in white with the above wheels

The looks have grown on me since it's launch.. prefer it to the new evo anyway but both were a step in the wrong direction imo.

It looks good in white il admit but the only colour that the new Scoobaroo can just about pull off is gun metal gray,

Not a big fan of the 2.5L either.. preffer the way the 2.0 delivers the power. The new one is certainly faster, but it doesn't feel it. It's also quieter and the ride is far more refined than it ever was before. The real problem is, the old one makes you feel like you are doing the speeds you are, the new one really does not.

Im not a fan of the lack of exhaust note, very little burble can be heard

The jump to 2.5l in a way I see as a good thing, due to how much more you can tune out of them, and the extra torque you can gain, but the old school turbo shove has been reduced
