    Bought this...

    http://www.halfords.com/opd_product_...&type=0&cat=54

And applied it to the exterior bumpers and plastic bits on me KA. Can anyone comment on how useful or good this stuff is? I am not after a 'back 2 black' finish yet, but I am really keen to keep the paintwork and exterior items as in good condition as possible (hence the car gets cleaned about every 2/3 weeks )

It just seems to have gone straight on and nothing visible appears to have come out of it...

    Carplan Black Trim Wax

I used this stuff on my mam's Ka.

Worked a treat... It's like an oily based stuff... I'd recommend using gloves when working with it... as its a nightmare to get off ya hands... even with proper orange gritty hand cleaner.

When it rains ya can see the water running off.

    Lovely stuff!!

LOL - I think this sums up why i shouldn't just go Halfords and pick up things that 'look' good! I will stick with it and use the bottle up...and then shift over to some stuff like that XTR

Its funny, my dad knows little, like me, about cars - and even he said it was a waste of money Why oh why don't i listen!

I once complained to Halfords online about the Caliper paint that melted on my brake drums. They told me to return it to my closest store for a refund as i was disatisfied with the product.

Take it back! Your not happy with it... Buy the stuff i used.. its a lovely black slime

lol Nick, u keep telling me this...I am almost at the point of giving it a try We'll go buy a bottle in a couple of weeks...not at the same time tho, cos buying that stuff could look seriously gay.

I think the stuff I bought is more about 'protecting' the plastic rather than bringing out any great shine
