ouch......
Whilst the bike may have won, I doubt either owner did
I dont see how the driver of the car could have survived that. Very nasty
Oh man that is bad, i guess the only way the driver of the car could have survived is if it was left hand drive. And as for the person on the bike, I wouldnt like to be the one scraping them off the deck
bike owner *may* have been ok. i mean he may have just launched over the car and skidded down the road.. its not cirtain but it could have happened
hrmm looking closer, the bike wasnt the only thing that car hit.. no way it could do that much damage - i mean the far side wheels are at a silly angle n stuff
hughlunnon@yahoo.com | I have sigs turned off..
Holy rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish. That can't have been pleasant for either person

the car probably got shunted down the road, causing the wheels to buckle underneath the car. Certainly looks bad, I saw an accident very similar to this about 6 months ago near Ely. The car pulled out and the bike plain smashed into it, didn't even have chance to break. With no skid marks police can't be sure, but they think the bike was doing around 120MPH (ouch). Both drivers died on the spot, with both needing a closed coffin at their repective funerals.
Guess it's a sad, sad world we live in.

ps imagine if that was an earlier model without side impact bars etc.
Winning isn't everything, but losing is nothing...
You're telling me, but then if the guy was doing 120mph he deserved to die as he knew the consequences. Shame he (yet again) took an innocent life with him. He should've wrapped himself round a lamp-post. Bastard.Originally Posted by BlueBot

yes, although it is never good to see a life ended, I must admit it was his own fault. All that I can say if I am pleased he didn't hit a family car and kill more than one person.
But this could turn into a great debate about the merits of speeding etc, so let's not...

I respect other peoples views entirely, if you wish to do 70mph that's fine, just don't do 70mph in the fast lane if you aren't overtaking anything... #
But going backto the thread, I wonder if it was a write off Could probably salvage 1 alloy and 2 seatbelts from that wreck...

Don't jump to conclusions people, you don't know how the accident was caused. Anyone who thinks that speeding is a good idea though should have a look at the bad wrecks section on wreckedexotics, it's an eye opener
Rich :¬)
speeding is perfectly safe as long as it is done in consideration to the road conditions and other motorists. I would imagine that the car pulled out of crossroads in front of the bike, happens a lot, which is why most bikers ride around with theirs lights on 24/7

Ahh, come on... how can you expect me not to make a remark to that??
Either than motorcyclist was going WAY over the speed limit, or his bike fell off a passing plane and landed on the cars roof. And whether it's a car or a bike, they should've been going slow enough in case someone accidently pulled out in front of them... time to brake = saved lives.
Speeding in the right conditions is fine. I believe the only conditions for doing the speeds required for the above accident are on a race track though! By speeding I am talking about going over the speed limit, not obliterating it.
But I am doing exactly what I said I wouldn't, ie get into a speeding debate, so I'll be quiet right now...
