Problems with Rally Car prep :-(

It all stems from the old "what goes in first" ?

Roll Cage in......now its gotta go everywhere and fit ever nook and cranny...

then dash board...that needs CUTTING to fit....and once in, you gotta connect it all back up.....pipes from the water system for heat, cables for electrics, and worst of all

the HEATER CABLES...the things that move when you turn your hot and cold air controls, and the direction of the air, and it HURTS

Why does it hurt? Ever tried laying upside down, over a roll cage door bar, wrapped around a geat lever, head under the dash, ifting the throttle pedel to get your skull under it, and then, with a torch in your teeth, and trying to remember "in mirror image cos your upside down" what the dash looked like, and tearing skin from bone to get your hands in tiny little gaps?

GO figure It's supposed to be fun motorsport

no - they make photocopiers... but the experience of that particular job is just as fun, cos you have to everything by touch - you cant physically get your head in the right place in a photocopier to see what you're doing half the time...
