Getting self adhesive pads for ipod kit

I got a Harmon Kardon iPod kit from the offer on the bargains when it was on, I got round to having the time to install it the other week, but the adhesive pads didn't seem up to much in my car dashboard and the stuff wasn't secure after a while to fix so I took it out for safety (dont want the stuff falling on me while I am driving).

Does anyone know where I can get some very strong double sided adhesive patches/tabs/circles? I only need a few but want them to be good quality (sick of having to listen to cds in my car when I have everything else for it already).

pop into a bmw dealer and buy some spoiler tape, £6 and its sticks really well

surely any double sided tape will do, so long as it's nice and strong?
you may want to invest in some isoprynol alcohol for removing it when needed though.......

all i know is this stuff will hold the old mans spoiler in place through extreme temps so is ideal for inside and outside the car, it also wont vibrate off if it can hold an m3 spoiler on at 155mph

costs less than the screwfix version although you only get 1 mtr.. but its an ipod so thats fine

Well the last stuff was meant to be very strong, but from the vibrations it fell off after a few days (both the screen and the control)

I would rather have a job of cleaning it off than to drill into my dashboard/console

I'll give the dealer a check see how much it is and stuff.

cost my old man £6, you only need 1mtr make sure the surface is clean of "car products" by using something like alcohol spray 1st tho

Yeah Isopropyl or whatever those wipes are is what I plan to use liberally

get them free at work for cleaning my desk lol

its the same thing that im on about, except it can also keep the spoiler on the back of the car at stupid speeds

Can you get that in other places than a garage? Do halfords do stuff like that as it's much easier for me to get to a halfords than a local dealer due to where I live and work
