    OZ Wheels.....

For those that don't know... that's my car... but I've photoshopped some wheels on it...

    17" OZ Super Turismo's

I can buy some used ones for £300. with poor tyres...
These retail for £799... so i'm wondering whether to go for it... The bloke is based in Newcastle so I could easily collect them.... Think they look good?

Tyres are £60 each... so £240.

I was going to buy 2 x 15" tyres for the front of my car... Which would be £80... but I'd rather put the money towards some alloys.

    What's your views.... Lowe, Zak?

Dunno if it's just the photo, but those wheels look like 20's rather than 17's. They do suit the car though, and a that price I wouls say they were a good deal.

    SuperTurisimos ROCK!

They're great rims.. not especially light, but better than most. They're nice and strong, but are a serious pain in the butt to clean. Should be better on 17" though cos you'l have a bit more room inbetween the spokes.

Be very careful when buying secondhand alloys, they could be buckled and there's no way that you can check them without them being on a car or by having them put on a balancing machine. Generally I'd only ever buy from people you know, or someone you know you could take them back to...

    Something to think about...

What difference would it make though? As long as they work it doesn't matter if you can see them or not!

The size of the pics on your car is not 17", It's closer to 19" / 20", I don't think they will look as good on your car as they do in the picture.

Also, make sure that the wheels are not cracked or fractured. Have you actually seen the wheels? Do you know the person your buying from?

If I was you I'd only buy them brand new.

I've seen the same car as yours sitting on OZ Titans ( I think), they barely fitted under the arches, had a body kit on too and it looks M I N T

    Just my thoughts.

my point was, if they were as big as they look in the photo (the only reason for which is aestetics, right??) it would seem strange to run drums behind them (which generally dont look very sporty or beefy or owt), which would ruin this image. I doubt the brakes need upratign from a power point of view, but i personally wouldnt run drums behind a set of large, and mainly 'hollow' (ie, compared to other alloys there's less metal in them) alloys

Its a photoshop picture!!!! the wheels are not to scale..... they look like 19" on the photo... thats my fault. It doesnt matter... all i wanted was a visualisation of how the car looks with that style of wheel... and i think it works well

OZ make fine fine wheels....amongst the best.

Sounds like a bargain...and I HATE wheels that are too large, so on the presumption that they ARE 17" for sale...

    go gettem big man

I prefer OZ Saturn....but I'm not even sure they still exist ...had many pairs of those.....TVR used them too IIRC....lovely wheels

I gotta agree Nick...I think i may have seen this Megane as well, is it a dark red??

But anyway...them wheels look nice but you don't want anything even slightly damaged, what would be the point to it?!
