Haven't Aston had a saloon for a while now?
And the Porsche looks like a Cayenne thats been flattened with a hammer.
Edit: I think that BMW is pretty nice actually.
Nah Aston haven't had a four door in the range for quite some time if memory serves, just the DBS, DB9 and V8 Vantage, I wonder how these cars are gonna fair resale value wise in a couple of years, not well I bet.
I quite like this chaps take on a four door Ferrari, at least from this angle -

That is lovely!
Those wheels are amazing too, although I doubt you'd ever see them in production, not enough metal there to be strong enough.
The Rapide concept's been knocking around for a few years, since '06 I think, might've been that.
I notice an awful lot of people in the thread talking about the lack of innovation Porsche are showing design wise and while I don't disagree it just occured to me Aston really havn't changed an awful lot since the Vanquish back in 2000/2001. Sure the DB9/DBS is prettier than the Vanquish ever was but the two don't look much more than a nip here and a tuck there away from one another.
Gotta agreed with you Knox - Aston havn't changed a great deal. Maybe we complain less because their cars are still pretty damn gorgeous
Also our perception of good Porsche design still revolves around the fabulous 356 Speedster, 550RS and 911 RS - light and delicate. The only possible exception for me would be the Carrera GT.
BTW that Beemer has been cancelled because it no longer meets their profit requirements in the current market.
Shame because I quite like it

The GT was a very good looking car in my opinion, I do see what you mean though as I feel the same way about recent Ferrari's.
How did they go from this -
To this
that's what science does to the cars of today.. purely science's fault!
science has a lot to answer for these days
i'd much rather go in the 2nd car, but rather look at the first car..
what about this though?
that is 1 of the best looking cars i've seen in a long time!
along with the new Lamborghini Gallardo
The 430 is more of a looker than the 550 or the 360 that spawned it but none of them deserve a place next to some of the classics design wise. The best looking Ferrari of recent years excluding the concepts is the 599 for my money, science doesn't have to get in the way the Carrera GT and Zonda are both stunning but Ferrari seem more content to focus on the science and F1 related tech than designing something beautiful these days and it saddens me
Ohh dear ohh dear ohh dear.
I must say it really looks like the Franco Germanic exchange program has not faired so well for Porsche.
Looks like Porsche borrowed some Citroen designers.
Will it have Hydro Gas suspension??
