    HI there

The Mustang and 525i SE are the present cars, all rest are past.

The favourites, well its the Mustang hence why I got it back but the M3 CSL comes a very close second to it.

In regards to how it drives on our roads, well same as any other performance car really, only difference is I am sitting on the other side but I am used to LHD so that does not bother me. Handling wise its better than all the previous cars because yes it is highly modified with a full adjustable suspension setup, the only car it does not beat on outright handling is the M3 CSL but when it comes how fun it is to drive Mustang everytime. Yes I miss the SMG box from the CSL because the CSL has the best version of an SMG box out there in my view, far better than what is found in the M3/M5's and stuff like the new R35 GTR. Only rival transmission I would say is the Ferrari F1 paddleshift which is also excellent.

    HI there

Mustang is what I own now the and 525i SE.

When it comes to trackdays it does not matter what you put on the track, whether it be something that cost you £100 or £100,000 your gonna have fun irrelevant of the car.
My trackday in the 525i SE was a lot of fun especially when you take cars like 911's, TVR's and other much more expensive machinery in the corners. An old BMW is great for trackdays, perfectly balanced and easily held sideways on the throttle. The M3 CSL around Donnington was truly sublime and its breaks were shot but it absolutely flew.

    Plus a few

Sorry for the high-jack but - What are your favourites? And would you recommend any of the Vectras considering Clarkson's hatred for them - for example how about the 2003 Vecta 3.2 V6?

    HI there

I've driven those Vectras and the VXR model, they are a lot of car for the money but they understeer like a pig. Have you not considered maybe a Mondeo ST220, they handle so much better than the Vectra and performance is similar.

Yeah - I went for an Octavia VRS in the end (just bought it last month) - was cheaper and newer than the available ST220s - but the ST220 (and Accord VTEC) is definitely on my list of next cars if we need something bigger than the VRS.

    I've had:

    Rover metro 1.1 1996
    Renault Megane 1.4 1998
    Mercedes E300 3.0 1995

Not a bad upgrade path over the last 15 months since I passed my test!

2001 "51" - Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec. In blue, my first and worst car. Hated the way it drove and the constant problems it gave me.
2006 "56" - Fiat Grande Punto 1.4 Active Sport. Loved this little thing, sure it was slow but far better to drive than the focus.
2003 "53" - BMW 318i Sport. My current steed, love it. Performance is merely adequate though, i'd like a 330i as my next car.

My list is pretty short, just 1 car, but I'm planning on a new one after I graduate. Assuming I can get a job/loan that is

    Seat Ibiza S 1.4 2001
