50K miles? hardly anything for a vehicle like that
Hope you enjoy it!

Jap history?
I never ever ever trust milages on imports. Who speaks or can read Japanese to find out the truth?
But... nice looking car. Just don't go to Spain in it

Miles are low and, even if it's not right, it looks it. Honestly, I've seen cars with more muck under them before they're registered. Having said that, it's been down the woods today
I went for it on the basis of condition vs all the other trucks I have seen, I just hope it turns out to be good enough to hold on to for a few years. Really, I'd have liked the 3.5L 24V petrol, which only turns out 3mpg shy of the diesel driven sensibly (although drinks a lot more foot down). This one would be outrun by porridge.
Honestly, you bought it because it says "field master" on the side, didn't you?

Do you actually need a 4x4?
That would rather depend on what you mean by 'need' on this occasion. You know... on a scale of Oxygen to Sky TV.
The car is in a field. Imagine if it had rained - would have been a pain to get out of without 4x4. And that's only just after buying the thing presumably.
My brother bought a similar mitsu 4x4 thing (I can't tell the difference between models, sorry) and while it looked mint, he ended up spending quite a bit on it (injectors etc.). Sure you won't have the same luck though.
