    Re: Malaysian Grand Prix

Jenson in that car, in the wet.. Fantastic! He was able to just drive up and overtake anyone up to the point where they really needed a rudders and a sail..

How ignorant were the FIA though to just ignore all the local knowledge? Numerous people came up and told them to just run it an hour earlier as otherwise it'd be too wet and too dark to race..

Anyway - Onward and upward Jenson!

Does Kovi have an aversion to racing more than one corner?

anyone see what raikonnen did? All the other drivers stayed near or in their cars waiting for nearly an hour, he got out of the car, changed into shorts and went and got a magnum and a coke. Nice.

    Re: Malaysian Grand Prix

It's because he was liable to being fried from his KERS system shorting... well apparently - how much that was covering the driver I've no idea.

    Still.

like they said though, how worried would the drivers with kers have been with the cars getting soaked. Could also concieveably had lightening strike a car. Would scare the s**t out of me if I was a driver

Just loved it when they asked him how he felt about finishing 7th, he asked someone from the team next to him where he finished and they said 7th but they were investigating it.

I swear the instant that was said, his face dropped because he thought "here we go again, after last week".

I've always liked Lewis and I think this season will prove what type of driver he is as he will have to fight for everything from middle of the grid.

I seen that, he is the man!

I don't watch or really understand F1, but I watched it this morning cos there was nothing on, and it was the worst thing ever, nobody was moving, 1 hour of nothing at all Lots of persuasion to make me watch it

Toyota playing hide and seek with Martin on the grid walk was fun - I can see him playing that every race now

    Re: Malaysian Grand Prix

Frankly I reckon Kimi stuck two-fingers up at the team for stuffing up his race strategy and putting him 14th. He clearly had no interest in racing again and I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Kers was a bit of a smokescreen (despite his earlier issues).
That press officer from Ferrari looks like he knew exactly what was going on but struggling to word the official fibs.

    Love it

Other than that how much fun?!

    Jenson drove a blinder.
I hadn't noticed but a mate here pointed out Brawn short-fueled him at the first stop knowing the rain was coming and combined with stunning in-laps turned Rosberg and Trulli over with ease.
He was lucky mind, if Trulli had flowed Glock onto inters he'd likely of won.

My point of future note is this:
Despite Rubens being second in the championship he's looking increasingly grumpy. Yes there are issues for both drivers but I think it's deeper than that. I worry he thinks he's being marginalised in all the Jenson furor (remembering Schuey no doubt).
I hope that's not the case as he's fun to watch (witness move on Alonso) and I want to see him grinning from ear to ear lest the team hit internal issues later in the season.

    Great race

    Great race
I noticed he awas particularly grumpy after yesterday...it's a shame but I think he might have had a chance to catch the cars infront of him with that much of the race left....
either way I have to admin the little battle he had with alonso was great to watch
