    Laugh.

Then buy a couple extra relays. Then laugh in a "mad scientist/evil villain" kind of way.

Seriously though. At least the rest of your car was fine and its not costing you a fortune to fix.

Voted cry just to be different

Might look like it only cost you £7 but really its £147, although like people said could have been a lot worse.

No, its not 147. He paid 140 to take part and he did take part in a couple of stages. So only part of the fee was wasted

Let me tell you the funniest thing I ever saw watching rallying....

Car splutters to halt near to us. Co driver jumps out flips the bonnet, pulls the Dizzy cap, determines the rotor arm is cracked. Rips it out and flings it into the forest then fits the new one.....

Imagine how silly he now feels when his new rotor arm is the wrong one and the driver and co driver (and half the crowd) are now rumaging through the forest looking for the old one.....

Laugh mate, just for the experience. Got to be amazing flying round gravel tracks, either co-driving or driver.

I would really like to get into rallying once I graduate and get a decent income. Do you need a special license??

you should laugh pal, and thank yer luckies that it was only the relay whatsitbob that went.. could so so easily have bee something expensive, like a gearbox or something.... S'what first runs are for anyhoo - teething probs. Next time it will be chuffin ace tho, a reet proper flyin machine.. and we want on board footage from the next rally
