F1 Reshuffle - What do you think will happen?

So with Massa KO'ed and BMW off into the sunset what do you think will happen?

My comedic thoughts follow these lines:

Sebastian Bourdais is best positioned of the external drivers to get Massa's seat with the same manager as the injured Brazilian who also happens to be a Todt.
Marc Gene is best positioned of the Ferrari bunch as Badoer's age will tell against his fitness and I really don't think Ferrari need Schmacher.
While I'd love to see Coultard in a Ferrari (not forgetting Toro Rosso run their engines) I think he suits commentating much better.
As for Alonso -well if Renault stay can you really see Flav letting him go play?

A rising star thwarted by the soon-to-be-defunct BMW-Sauber. BMW are unlikely to argue unless the sale of the team hinges on him staying. He'd be perfect for Ferrari whether he sits alongside Raikkonen or Alsonso next season.

As for BMW- Sauber, well as I've mentioned elsewhere I think Team USF1 need to dig into their pockets and buy the team. An established base with top notch wind-tunnel and kers-technology should it not be banned. It's a no-brainer!

I think your spot on ... I don't see Schue all of a sudden becoming f1 fit in four weeks. I haven't read any thoughts/idea about USF1 buying the remains of BMW Sauber, would be a good plan though. Would give the team a better base then that of operating from America as I believe they currently plan to do?

Assuming you're talking about the Ferrari pair for next year: Alsono + Massa.

For Massa's seat the coming race.. who knows - maybe Alonso if Renault are banned. Otherwise Gene or Schumy, maybe Bordais.

Admittedly I've written Massa off a little prematurely here by assuming the worst that he really may have a premature end to his career in F1.
It would be a massive shame but then looking at what Mark Webber's achieved this year I would bet against him racing again before the seasons out!

Dunno, Kimi was giving his all in Hungary. Seemed it finally clicked what the team meant after Massa's crash.

MS isn't going to be beating Kimi regularly, and probably not at all - he's not driven an F1 car competitively since 2006, and not at all this year. I think according to the regulations they can put him in last years car to familiarise him with the speed again, and do some straight-line tests in this years car (if Ferrari still have tests they can do) to get him up to speed with the controls of the 2009 contender.

He's got nothing to prove. If he gets beaten then it won't be unexpected. Hopefully he won't get beaten soundly though.

MS... Alonso... Kimi... Hamilton... last time we had this was 1999, and 2 of those champs were way off the pace.

Shame though - with so many new drivers available let alone current ones looking in bother it'd of been nice to of seen a different face at Ferrari.
