    Anyone ever had this happen?

    http://images.shad.tv/ie6problem.avi - 636Kb

As you can see sometimes when a new IE window is opened it starts another process. However, when the window closes the process remains. When a link tries to open a new window or if I ask a link to open in a new window, after there are one or more 'stale' processes, IE hangs completely and all the processes need to be terminated.

This doesn't always happen, indeed I haven't had this problem for a very long time. I am using the latest IE6. Please do not suggest another browser as a solution, because it's just a workaround.

    Cheers
    Simon

I use MyIE2. I suggest you also try mozilla and firebird. Try to saty away from Opera and IE.

Raz, thanks for that link. Unfortunately, I think it is exactly the right solution but MS in their infinite wisdom have removed the option. It mentions at the bottom of the article it applies to IE4.
