Basically, thinking of replacing the GF's Rover 100 with a MK1 MX5. However, she plays the accordion, and ideally she need to get it in the boot (Boot rack is a No No). The MK2 looks as though it would fit, but I read somewhere the Mk1's boot is about 40% smaller.

A good photo of an open boot would be great.

    lol,

It probably would go, it's quite wide... not sure if it would interfere with the gearstick. Trying to find a local one forsale atm.

It's an Accordian that is the object to fit. (In a case) It's looking more like it won't go.

I suggested removing the spare and getting a can of tyre weld. She doesn't like that idea. Says shed be embarresed to phone the AA if she can't fix it. (Not that she would be able to get the wheel nuts off anyway)

In it's case (at the moment) could be made smaller:

80x90x25cm (Think that is probably a bit larger though)

You can get soft cases for them, this would reduce the size by a fair bit.

Ahh well, we will go look at one anyway... see if there is anyway to sqeeze it in.

Go to test-drives with the accordion. Although people might tell you to go and buy an estate instead
